The school’s guidance program is delivered by a school counselor. The services provided include: individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance, parent conferences, teacher consultations, and school wide affective education activities that focus on the student development program.

Mission Statement The Division of Student / Career Services supports the academic, career, and personal/social development of students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools by assisting school personnel, parents/guardians/caregivers, and the community to empower and encourage learners in the achievement of their maximum potential in a safe and effective learning environment.
Goals · To develop the implementation of a Standards-Based Student Career Development Program and the development of school site plans. · To establish a seamless sequential postsecondary planning process using student portfolios. · To strengthen the programs and activities which assist students in making transitions from home to school, from school to school, and from school to their postsecondary endeavors. · To enhance the safety of schools for all students by addressing issues of cross cultural understanding, bullying, harassment, violence, and the use of harmful substances.
