Mission Statement
Skyway Elementary is more than a school. It is a loving, learning laboratory for lucky children who reach for the stars by reading, believing, achieving, and succeeding at everything.

Vision Statement
The vision of Skyway Elementary School is to improve the educational opportunities of all children by helping them succeed in the regular program, attain grade level proficiency, and improve achievement in basic and more advanced skills.

School Information
Skyway Elementary School is located on 7.87 acres in the northern part of Miami-Dade County. Our school serves 513 students from the surrounding neighborhood. Skyway Elementary is a mandatory uniform school, which provides educational services through the use of the Sunshine State Standards and Competency Based Curriculum to students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through five in an open space classroom setting. Additionally, teachers use the Comprehensive Reading Plan and CRISS Strategies to enhance instruction.
